Abstract

The life cycle assessment (LCA) applied to green materials corresponds to a quantitative methodology to estimate the environmental impacts related to green materials. Depending on the scope of the study, this evaluation can encompass the whole life cycle of the product, the so-called cradle-to-grave analysis, i.e., from raw material extraction to end of life and waste disposal, or consider only a specific stage of the life cycle of green materials.
