Abstract
New laboratory test set-ups and test procedures are described -
for testing the formation of hydraulically induced fractures as
well as the potential for subsequent fracture closurefrom the
relase of a swelling potential. The main purpose with the tests is
to provide information on fracturing stresses and whether or not
the material in question possesses the potential for fracture
closure.
