Abstract
Electrochemical production as well as technical properties of
30-200 µm thick corrosion and wear resistant layers are discussed.
The potential of novel materials such as electrodeposited Ni-P are
compared with conventional technologies, namely hard chrome and
electroless deposited Ni-P
