Abstract
The studied devices consist of three superconducting (Al) electrodes connected to the same piece of degenerate Semiconductor (n++ GaAs) in a planar geometry. When a current is injected from one of the superconducting electrodes at an injection bias V = Delta (T)/e, the critical supercurrent between the other two superconducting electrodes has a maximum, which persists to temperatures where the equilibrium supercurrent has vanished. Here we report new results on the injection induced AC Josephson effect in these devices. By irradiating the samples with a rf field in the 3 GHz range we observed clear evidence for Shapiro steps also for the non-equilibrium supercurrent.
