Improving Software Quality by Performance Testing in DevOps Environments

Abstract

DevOps movement is a mature one and has proved efficiency in developing and deployment software projects fast enough with high quality continuous evaluated by customer. Not only integration of developers, quality assurance engineers and operations engineers, but automated testing participate to this highlighted image. This paper considers the performance testing as a vital step to produce a high quality software. DevOps philosophy and ways for software quality improvement are discussed, Also, many case studies on performance testing are outlined by reviewing specific literature.
