Abstract

We consider optimized configurations of high-contrast one-dimensional sub-wavelength gratings as label-free biosensors for proteins detection. Parameters of the sensors, in particular sensitivity, are improved in comparison with the basic design. Modeling was done by three numerical methods providing required reproducibility and convergence.
