    Abstract

A network of universities in Europe has collected data on the energy use and other environmental impacts from the universities themselves. The idea is to increase the environmental awareness among the students as well as the staff, and hopefully lead to actions to reduce the impact. Campuses in seven countries are compared and show striking differences. The countries involved are Denmark, Finland, Greece, France, Poland, Portugal, and Romania.
