Abstract

This paper describes a lightning measurement station together with preliminary results of using both electric and magnetic field records in conjunction with satellite data provided by ASIM project to establish the presence of Transient Luminous Events in images captured by satellite platforms. The lightning measurement station is located near the center of Colombia at an altitude of 3,000 m.a.s.l.
