Abstract
Analyzing the transverse stability of low periodic orbits embedded
in the synchronized chaotic state for a system of two coupled
Rössler oscillators, we obtain the conditions for synchronization
and determine the coupling parameters for which riddled basins of
attraction may arise. It is shown how the structure of these
basins can be explained in terms of the transitivity for the
Rössler chaotic attractor.
