Abstract
Analysis of the scope for application of hydrogen and electric
propulsion for improvement of the fuel cycle efficiency and
introduction of renewable energy in the transport sector. The
paper compares these fuels with each other as well as with other
fuels (especially bio fuels) and outlines their individual roles
in a strategy for sustainable transport. Finally, the fuels are
compared to the present fuels.
