Using anomalous large diffusion we report a recording of reflection type gratings in a PVK-based photorefractive polymer without any external electric field. The diffraction efficiency of the gratings was measured to be 7%. An efficient modulation of beams during two-beam coupling up to 12% was demonstrated by using the phase modulation technique. This practical scheme can be used in dynamic vibration measurements.
