Abstract
This is the IET Renewable Power Generation Special Section from the 7th IET Renewable Power Generation Conference organised by the Center for Electric Power and Energy, Department of Electrical Engineering, Technical University of Denmark in Copenhagen. A variety of research topics were covered in the conference, i.e., wind
technology, PV systems technology, energy storage for renewable sources, technology, policy and market options for power system flexibility, power system integration of renewable energy. Six papers presented in the conference were selected and accepted for publication in this Special Section. The topic areas of the selected papers are as follows: (i) Wind forecasting; (ii) Inertia response and control; (iii) Photovoltaic model; (iv) DC/AC integration for wind power; (v) System resilience with wind power.
