Abstract

We have proposed and demonstrated the generation and coherent detection of 2 μm-band I/Q modulated signals for the first time using on-chip spectral translation. 6×32 Gbaud WDM-QPSK signals exhibit BERs below the 7% HD-FEC threshold.
