Abstract

Trials in Denmark and Greenland investigating arctic surveillance are described. Several SAR and EO sensors are tested in several frequency and wavelength bands against various targets as ships, ice bergs, oil spill, and other relevant objects. The sensor performances such as resolution, detection ranges and false alarms are currently analysed. Sensor fusion, change detection and ISR capabilities are discussed.
