Abstract
This paper presents the FLEXOR platform, a modular tool for prototype Wearable Body Area Network (WBAN) applications. This platform is intended to reduce costs, effort and complexity of a WBAN project. The platform is set to a star topology, and allows the configuration of active modules, independent sampling times and ID assignation to each node through a Graphic User Interface (GUI). Finally, a study case of a WBAN for temperature monitoring of drug storage room, implemented by the FLEXOR platform is presented.
