Abstract

An 8-Channel flexible array is proposed for hyperpolarized ¹³C, where the coil coupling coefficients are matched to be nearly identical at the ¹³C (32.1 MHz) and ²³Na (33.8 MHz) frequencies. This way, the ²³Na present in biological tissue can be used to obtain accurate ¹³C profiles.
