Abstract
The objective of the present study is to obtain basic data of
fibre reinforced concrete under fatigue load and to set up a
theoretical model based on micromechanics. In this study, the
bridging stress in fiber reinforced concrete under cyclic tensile
load was investigted in details. The damage mechanism of the
interface between fiber and matrix was proposed and a rational
model given. Finally, the response of a steel fiber reinforced
concrete beam under fatigue loading was predicted based on this
model and compared with experimental results.
