    Abstract

    A review of the need of refuelling fusionreactors and of the possible refuelling
    methods, in particular injection of pellets of solid hydrogen isotopes, is given. The intraction between hydrogen pellets and a fussion plasma is investigated and a theoretical model is given. From this it is seen that the necessary injection speed is above 104 m/sec. Experiments in which hydrogen pellets are interacting with a rotating test plasma (puffatran plasma) is described. The experimental results does partly verify the basic ideas of the theoretical model.
