Fast, accurate and stable scattering calculation method with application to finite sized photonic crystal waveguides

Abstract

We present a multipole solution to the Lippmann-Schwinger equation for electromagnetic scattering in inhomogeneous geometries. The method is illustrated by calculating the Green’s function for a finite sized two-dimensional photonic crystal waveguide.
