Abstract
SCCS har i marts 2025 offentliggjort en foreløbig vurdering af sikkerheden ved brug af Benzophenone-2 (BP-2) and Benzophenone-5 (BP-5) i kosmetiske produkter. Departementet har d. 24/4-2025 kontaktet DTU FOOD og bedt om DTU FOODs faglige vurdering, af den fare- og risikovurdering som SCCS har foretaget, med særlig fokus på den read-across der er fortaget for BP-5. DTU FOOD har i nedenstående notat udfærdiget kommentarer på engelsk. Disse kan af Departementet anvendes som udgangspunkt for at fremsende kommentarer til SCCS på Danmarks vegne.
