This report gives a brief overview of the main implementation details necessary to account for compressibility in the EllipSys code. The additional input parameters required to activate and configure the compressible formulation are presented. A series of test-cases are defined and comparisons with measurement data and solutions from existing
validated compressible codes are conducted. It is shown that the code behaves as expected, although it typically requires longer computational times than for the incompressible case. Furthermore, the quantitative results appear to validate this compressible version of the code.
