Abstract

In this talk, I will present our recent work on nanolasers that leverage extreme dielectric confinement to localize both photons and electrons, achieving a sub-diffraction-limited mode volume and continuous-wave lasing at room temperature. This approach enhances light-matter interactions, lowers the lasing threshold, and paves the way for ultra-efficient optoelectronic devices.
