Abstract
Danmarks Fiskeriforening Producent Organisation has asked DTU Aqua to perform an analysis to elucidate two issues pertaining to biogenic reefs, which emerged during the last assessment for the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certification of mussel fishery in Denmark. The content presented in this report is exclusively the responsibility of DTU Aqua, with all design and data analysis performed solely by DTU Aqua. Additionally, the report was evaluated by external review by Professor Mats Lindegarth from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. This report has been funded by Danmarks Fiskeriforening Producent Organisation.
