Abstract

PDI-related signal was detected in operation OP1.2 in W7-X. Theoretical predictions can reproduce the power and the spectrum of the measured signal. Strong correlation of crashes in PDI sidebands with ILM-like events supports excitation of PDI in the plasma edge.
