    Abstract

We perform randomized controlled trial in order to investigate the effect of a modular interactive playware, the MOTO tiles, on cognitive abilities. Twenty university students were enrolled and equally assigned to an intervention group and a control group. The intervention was a 30 minutes training program consisting of 4 MOTO games. Training outcomes were measured by 4 cognitive tests implemented on Android tablet. Results of statistical analyses reveal that the intervention group got more improvement in reaction time of the tests Visual Search, Choice Reaction Time, and Sternberg Scanning.
