Abstract
The paper deals with education of MSc and PhD students in
engineering areas fluid power and mechatronics at the Technical
Univ of Denmark, DTU, Lyngby. The new education structure and
programs for MSc and PhD students adapted to the change and
development of technologies. Focus is on two of twenty engineering
profilies:(1) Engineeing Design and Product Development and
(2)Control Engineering which give possibilitie for specialisation
in fluid power and mechatronics design and productdevelopment.
Synthesis, design and self-learning competency have a high
priority taking the importance of training in industrial
enterprises into account. Projects are included covering
mathematical modelling, simulation, analysis, experiments,
implementation and prototyping.
