Directional supercontinuum generation

Abstract

Directional supercontinuum is generated in a silicon-rich nitride waveguide with two zero dispersion wavelengths. The supercontinuum is caused by interaction between a soliton and a pulse in the normal dispersion regime leading to dispersive waves.
