Diagonalization Procedure for a Bose System Hamiltonian

    Abstract

    A diagonalization procedure for a quadratic form of Bose operators is presented. Explicit, exact expressions for the eigenvalues and the transformation matrices are given for the case of two interacting Bose systems. As examples of applications may be mentioned simple magnon treatment of antiferromagnets or ferromagnets with two atoms per unit cell, magnonphonon interaction and other interactions between collective modes.
