    Abstract

    A precondition for making environmental conscious company managemnet is the managers awareness of the environmental impact potentials they manage, internally as well as externally. There is a need for managemnt tools to support the implementation of relevant environmental criterions into the decision making processes. The discipline of life cycle environmental management (LCEM) focuses on the incorporation of environmental criterions from the life cycles of products and other company activities into the company management processes. LCEM investigations are carried out at the packaging company of Hartmann Ltd., Denmark and this paper will present preliminary results from the development of such LCEM tools
