Abstract

The workshop identified relevant datasets and gaps in the current understanding of mass budget estimates and freshwater flux processes from the Antarctic ice sheet (AIS). Presentations included process studies and evaluation of atmosphere, ocean, and ice dynamical models. In addition, new approaches were presented using machine learning methods for assessing mass change, enhancing satellite remote sensing data, and developing blended hybrid datasets. Finally, we developed recommendations for future work.
