    Abstract

    Approximate evaluation for watertanks, hortonspheres, vapor containers, containment vessels for nuclear reactors, and so forth, has been computed, taking into account out-of-roundness and local flattened areas; graphs have been plotted giving critical buckling load as function of maximum radial deviation over average chord to flattened area.
