    Abstract

This report is a summary of a lecture held at the Danish-Polish Symposium on Radiation Chemistry in Warsaw, October 1979, describing an initiated work connected to the particle track theory worked out by R. Katz and coworkers. A short
description is given of the theory and the applicability of the theory in the use of the radiochromic dye cyanide filr dose meter as a detector in radiation of different qualities. A few experimental results are given.
