Abstract
This report deals with concentrated loads on concrete.A new upper
bound solution in the axisymmetrical case of a point load in the
center of the end face of a cylinder is developed.Based on
previous work dealing with failure mechanisms and upper bound
solutions, new approximate formulas are developed. They cover
point loads as well as line loads and loads on rectangular areas.
