    Abstract

A comparison of 60 GHz planar and spherical nearfield antenna measurements for two widely different antennas under test is presented to demonstrate how the non-ideal aspects of the measurement systems affect the far-field radiation patterns for mm-wave antennas. In general, a very good agreement is observed but clear differences are also noted.
