Commensurate-commensurate magnetic phase transitions in CeSb

    Abstract

    The q=2/3 to q=4/7 commensurate-commensurate phase transition in CeSb has been studied by neutron diffraction. On cooling the commensurate wave vector q changes abruptly from 2/3 to a higher-order commensurate value (≈14/23) at T1<TN whereafter q slowly decreases to 4/7 at (T1-1)K. On heating, q increases abruptly from 4/7 to 2/3 at (T1+0.16)K
