    Abstract

Wavelength-independent detection of NRZ-DPSK signals is proposed and demonstrated at 43 Gbit/s. The scheme relies on re-modulation of the incoming NRZ-DPSK signal with a recovered electrical clock. Good performance is obtained after dispersion managed transmission.
