    Abstract

Concern for structural arrangements on ships and floating structures with regard to their integrity and adequacy in the events of collisions and grounding, taking into account the probabilistic and physical nature of such accidents. Consideration shall be given to the effectiveness of structural arrangements for reducing or avoiding pollution due to leakage, and to residual strength of damaged structures.
