Abstract
Miniaturized near-infrared spectrometers are compact, fast, and energy-efficient, allowing for rapid analysis in a label-free and non-invasive manner. These advantages bring them great potential for applications in clinical diagnostics, food monitoring, forensic analysis, and health care [1]. A chip-scale spectrometer based on a mature silicon platform could solve the scalability issue for production in a cost-effective way.
