    Abstract

The objective of this Annual Report is to give a general introduction to CGM as well as to give an account of the tasks carried out using the facilities of CGM’s Instrument Centre during 2000 and 2001. A considerable number of people have contributed to the establishment of the Centre and who are involved in it's daily operation. In particular, I would like to thank my colleagues here at the Department of Manufacturing Engineering and Management (IPL) at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and at the Institute for Product Development (IPU), as well as those external consultants who during 2000 and 2001 have contributed to the operation of the centre: Bjarne Gottlieb Ravn, Dragos Axinte, Enrico Savio, Erik Larsen, Giuliano Bissacco, Hans Nørgaard Hansen, Jan Andreasen, Lars Holmbæck, Maria Pia Sammartini Malberg, Niels Kofod, Paolo Bariani, Pernille Dorph, René Sobiecki, Roberto Meneghello, Simone Carmignato, Valeria Carbone, Walter Belluco, Zeng Zhixin.
