Calibration of Scanning Lidar instrument

Abstract

This report presents the result of the line-of-sight calibration performed on scanning lidars at DTU Risø Campus, Denmark. Calibration is here understood as the establishment of a relation between the reference wind speed measurements, provided by measurement standards, and the corresponding lidar line-of-sight (LOS) wind speed indications. The lidar calibration concerns the 10-minute mean LOS wind speed measurements.
