    Abstract

This report describes the tests carried out on a scanning lidar at the DTU Test Station for large wind turbines, Østerild. The tests were divided in two parts. In the first part, the purpose was to obtain wind speed calibration at a defined height against one cup anemometers mounted on a mast both in terms of horizontal and line of sight (LOS) wind speed. Additionally, comparison of wind direction and turbulence measurements were made, for informative purposes, although they are not formally considered calibrations. In the second part, we performed the calibration of the inclinometers and the check of the positional accuracy of the scanner head.
