Abstract

This report presents the result of the lidar calibration performed for another type of nacelle based lidar at DTU’s test site for large wind turbines at Høvsøre, Denmark. Calibration is here understood as the establishment of a relation between the reference wind speed measurements with measurement uncertainties, provided by measurement standards, and corresponding lidar line-of-sight (LOS) wind speed indications, with associated measurement uncertainties. The lidar calibration concerns the 10 minute mean LOS wind speed measurements.
