Abstract
Fire Safety DesignThe sources and philosophies of fire safety
requirements are treated in general and especially the function
based requirements are presented. Tools for the assessment of the
requirements are divided into experience, testings and
calculations and further calculation procedures for fire models,
escape simulations, and load bearing capacities are briefly
presented.
