Abstract

The author introduces the method of pseudo-differential stabilization. He notes that the theory of pseudo-differential boundary operators is a fruitful approach to problems arising in control and stabilization theory of distributed-parameter systems. The basic pseudo-differential calculus can be used to obtain existence and stability theorems for boundary feedback semigroups in a direct and simple way.
