Abstract
The paper gives a brief overview of the biomedical engineering
research and education at the Technical University of Denmark. An
account of the research activities since the 1950?s is given, and
examples of major efforts within ultrasound, biomagnetism, and
neuroimaging are described. The evolution of the teaching
activities since the late 1960?s along with an account of the
recent initiatives to make a biomedical engineering profile at the
university is described.
