Abstract

Car use and air travel contribute to pollution and climate change, and road traffic crashes are among the leading causes of death worldwide. Technological solutions alone are not sufficient to address these challenges, as advances in technology are often offset by rebound effects. Thus, a change of traffic and transport behavior is required as part of a transition to a sustainable transport system.
