Abstract
We show that phase noise estimation based on Bayesian filtering outperforms conventional
time-domain approaches in the presence of moderate measurement noise. Additionally, carrier
synchronization based on Bayesian filtering, in combination with expectation maximization, is
demonstrated for the first time experimentally
