    Abstract

This report evaluates the Test Station for Wind Turbines so-called "basis activities"; That is a range of contract activities carried out for the Danish Energy Agency.

The evaluation was requested by the Energy Agency's Advisory Committee for Wind Power.

The report evaluates the contract activities since the establishment of the Test Station in 1978, but focus is set on the period 1989 to 1992.

The report describes first the basis activities and the development of allocated resources. Second the outcome of activities are analyzed using both quantitative indicators and qualitative descriptions.

Based on this analysis and external trends the report put up some strategic considerations for the basis activities in the future.
