Abstract

Municipal solid wastes can be segregated on the basis of their heavy metal content and their disposale in separate landfill cells. Therefore, the objective of the project was to investigate the interaction between copper (Cu) or Zinc (Zn) and cadmnium (Cd) using equilibrium batch absorbtion experiments. The results of the experimental invistigations were extended using Fuzzy-Logic Knowledge.
