    Abstract

We present the operator approach of finding material parameters of inhomogeneous bianisotropic media, the Maxwell equations in which havec losed-form solutions. It is applicable to spherically- and cylindrically-symmetric media. Scattering theory for the inhomogeneous objects in question is developed
